The Rockies in general provide the ultimate cycling conditions. Stunning panoramas typically accompany every switchback, paved road, trail, and bike path you will encounter.
The high elevation makes challenging climbs even more difficult and rewarding, and most drivers are accustomed to cyclists and well-versed in sharing the road. World class cycling begins at every intersection and trail head.
Bike rentals make commandeering any type of bike, from Yeti full-suspensions and Cannondale roadies to tandem bikes and family cruisers, easy and convenient. Anyone the least bit interested in cycling should check out the following trail maps and bicycle rental businesses in the area. As always, have a good ride and be safe!
