BICYLING IN BRECKENRIDGE
Did you know that Breckenridge has been designated a Gold level Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists? It has and it's only one of about two dozen cities in the U.S. that have earned this title. Gold level means that, among other things, most of the major roads have bike lanes, that over 10% of the community commutes by bicycle, and that Breckenridge has very good bicycle-friendly laws in place. Breckenridge 100 Challenge - This race has challenged cyclists since 2004. It covers 100 miles of varying terraing, climbs 12,000-foot mountain passes, and even crosses the Continental Divide multiple times.
