If you're looking for something fun that the whole family can enjoy, look no further than the Peak 8 Fun Park. Open daily from mid-June through Labor Day, the park is an oasis of adventure on the mountain. You can take advantage of free parking at the base of the Breck Connect Gondola in the North or the South Lot. From there, it's just a complimentary two-minute gondola ride away. The park has something for everyone! Younger children love Ripperoo's Bounce Corral, an inflatable bounce house, as well as the Minecraft Maze and panning for gemstones. There's also the Alpine SuperSlide and the Gold Runner Alpine Coaster, which is the only one of its kind in Colorado. Other great family activities in the Peak 8 Fun Park include miniature golf, scenic chairlift rides, a rock climbing wall, and the TenMile Flyer Zipline, which travels at up to 45 miles per hour at 50 feet in the air. Off-road Segway tours, 4 x 4 tours, and guided hiking tours are also available for those who want to add a little more nature time to their vacation. Parents with children between the ages of 2 months to 5 years can take advantage of child care services provided by the Peak 8 Children's Center. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 years can attend day camp where they'll learn about nature, science, crafts, and more.
