SUMMER EVENTS IN BRECKENRIDGE

All year long, Breckenridge hosts a variety of unique and interesting events. Our Breckenridge events calendar gives you a breakdown of some of the town's more popular festivals and events. But, if you're visiting during the summer months, you'll have plenty of events from which you can choose.

In June, Breckenridge Kingdom Days offer visitors a chance to explore the history of the town. There are tours of some of the town's historical homes, live music, and even the Outhouse Races, where teams build their own outhouses and compete to push them across the finish line. The 4th of July has a parade, bike races, and an art festival. The festivities conclude that day with a concert and, of course, fireworks.

During August, Breckenridge is frequently a stop on the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, which is one of the largest cycling events in the country. These events also correspond with Breck Bike Week that includes group rides, children's races, lectures, workshops, and more. The summer wraps up with Labor Day weekend. Over the three-day weekend, there's an art festival, a huge sidewalk sale, trail races, and rubber duck races down the Blue River.
